You have it. When the flash that gave you VXCF9 came out the dealer had to flash the FICM, IDS did not give them an option.(IDS used to give an option on whether or not the tech needed to flash the FICM when they flashed the PCM).
That being said, it’s not supposed to be as bad of a FICM killing flash as the VXCF5 original HI flash was.....but only time will tell. I'd still have Bill flash it though, just for the mpg.
