well it`s about time you got a 6.0L....

i will be following this closely. should i expect somewhat close HP/TORQUE numbers when i am using 140hp program?

anyway, i am very pleased with all programming that has been done. haven`t had a chance to try 80hp dd program yet, been having to much fun with the other 2 programs.....

only issue i have been having is, 3-4 shift(bad flair), maily when the truck isn`t up to operating temp....may try to adjust shift pressure, see if that will help....

as for rev-x, it did help with my truck, but i did have to replace an injector(electrical issue)....i just put some rev-x in a truck(7.3) at work. truck is a very high miler(700000km) with 3 contribution codes. already replaced i injector, do to the fact, it threw a code for that cylinder everytime i did contribution test, the other 2 were hit and miss....will post results after truck is run for a bit....

once again thanks for all the great programming..... (just wish i lived closer, do some fine tuning on the dyno)

Ideally, yes.

Keep me posted if it keeps doing that. We can make a slight change to the 3-5 shift slope that may help with the flare problem.

A 6L has finally made it to my driveway and I am interested in running this rev-x stuff. Should I wait until I change the oil and go with this stuff and synthetic or how should I go about trying it?

You can add Rev-X at any time. If you're about to change the oil, I'd wait. If you've still got a couple thousand miles to go, you can go ahead and add two bottles now.

Good to know, thanks. I'll be changing the oil inthe next 500mi, give or take, so I'll add the X then. Also I have to wait for the stuff to get here, this stuff isn't sold anywhere locally.

sorry it took me this long to get back too this(be very busy). the 3-5 flare seems the worst on the 140 tune under light throttle(i can live with it). the other 2 tunes seems to be ok. the truck has always had 3-5 flare, right from day i purchased truck. other then that, the 3 custom tunes work well, really impressed with the 80DD for power output(seems to work just as good as 100 performance tune)....the 140X just screems.....

my mpg hasn`t increased much, not what i was hoping for, but looking into that.

thanks Bill

I finally got around to adding the rev-x and it made a pretty big difference. No idle lope at all and the overdrive stumble is completely gone as well. It still has a little bluish smoke at first thing, cold start up for a minute or two and will smoke a little when I take off after 5-10 minutes of idling. The smoke is gone before I get out of my sub though, less than a half mile of 20MPH running.

I'll probably add another bottle at my next oil change...I plan on going with 5W-40 at that time as well.
