do I need a Cat for texas
I am just wondering if I need one here or not, I think in Colorado and Utah I need it, and I will probably keep one on because I dont know where I will live in a year, but if it helps performance at all and I won't need one on my truck I can like that

Thanks, What about the fact that I have a manual tranny? I was reading that it was required on those .

i really hate when people say cats are nothing but restriction. Factory ones yes. Aftermarket high flows, no. I am running a 4" magnaflow high flow cat on mine. there is no difference between when i was straight piped and now. I am not required in Georgia to do emissions, but I also dont wanna risk a prick cop who can give you a $1500 fine for not running a cat on a vehicle that was factory equipped with one. just saying.
