Default IPR% ?

Can I get a brief description of how this map works?

Every time I look at it the regulator flow confuses me. I have always thought the higher regulator flow equal lower pressures, like in an idle situation.

Is my thinking correct?

Any tips or tricks to this map?

Don't d!ck with it.

That's the best way I know of to make it work right.

But but I have to.

Actually have a rolling idle issue that needs to get sorted out.

Call me crazy, but after working with that map quite a bit, I'm not exactly sure about the "regulator flow" part of it either (as in not-as-labeled), but I'm not cool enough to know exactly how it relates....I think it's more EOT-based than anything (oil viscosity).

For example, in my "get 'er done"-style tunes for my truck, I go ape-shtuff crazy with the DC% in the left upper corner because it makes the ICP rocket up (like RIGHT NOW) and spike nicely to 3000 PSI right off the get-go when the EOT is nice and warm. However, if I get too carried away with the DC% as it moves right (and down), the ICP will spike to 3800-4000 PSI when cold. If I leave it stock toward that corner of the map, it won't do that, but ICP still comes up nice and quick.

Here's a screenshot of what I'm talking about:

Mine in black, red is stock.

Thanks, Cody!

That is the area I have been making my idle adjustments and I seems to have everything pretty good. Looks like I might do some experimenting with that map at colder engine temps to see what is really going on.

Maybe this is the reason ICP is uncontrollable at colder temps?
