1. Do I need to return it to stock or unplug it when I turn the truck off?

2. I know you arent suppose to prgram it in cold weather, but will it hurt it to leave it in the truck overnight when the weather is cold?
The answer to both questions, is NO. Once you program your truck, the Gryphon is just a monitor. You can take it out of the truck, leave it it, whatever suits you. The truck's computer holds the tune you programmed it to. DO NOT reprogram the truck to stock when you turn the truck off.

You might want to remove the Gryphon if it is VERY cold, say well below 20 F? The screen may have trouble lighting up if it is very cold. (I just found the touch screen in my GPS didn't work either in cold weather). The other reason you might want to remove the Gryphon is if you're afraid it might "sprout legs" and walk away some night while your truck is parked. Keeping it with you stops that from happening.
