Edgar, I think you have an older vehicle (pre 2004?). If so, the pods were always black and I don't think you CAN get a gray one.

Try Kyrlon Fusion paint. It is a plastic paint.

I gues another question I would have is...I don't have to prep the pod for painting? For some reason I thought I had to sand it down or something.

Krylon should have some sort of prep procedure? I know I had to do something like that on my gsxr fairing but that was using dupont paint. Maybe see if there is any info in that link.
