Actually, in looking at the code it seems the only way to reset it is to unplug the unit. I'll be doing a rebuild of all the firmware in the next week or two and will make sure to include the "Double Enter" method of clearing Avg. Economy.

Thanks Bill, yeah hopefully you can fix that. It could get kind of old having to unplug and plug it back in
 . By the way is this an issue only for the 97-03?

Yes, 97-03 only. 04 and later are already fixed.
