Default Is smoke with Fuel Sipper normal

I'm getting a bit of smoke when the motor is under load while using the fuel sipper. Is this normal? I have an S&B intake and smedding 60mm turbo. I'm wondering if the poor quality of the smedding is choking the motor making smoke. Any insight is appreciated. Thank you.

What color is the smoke? I suspect if it's black, that's a normal result of extra fuel with the engine under load.

But if it's grey or bluish, I'd suspect oil burning. White would be water (coolant, maybe).

Then, I think, if it's not excessive, that you're seeing a normal effect of the extra fuel that is added when a diesel engine is under load.
