Default Romps

Really wondering why my truck would romp like a son of a gun on the start on a 90 degree day, I mean it carried on like it was -20.
A little history, always used Delvac dino oil & changed reguarly
Started romping pretty good on 1st start last fall @ around 45 deg or less so I added the Rev-X & romps were gone
I am gonna start running the Valvo blue syn oil so last week I changed oil & put in the valvo dino oil & was planning to use the syn this winter.
Could the IPR be sticking to cause the romping w/o the Rev-X in the oil? The ICP sensor was leaking a little through the plug a few mos. ago so it was replaced with a new one.
Truck runs good but this is really kinda screwey, IDK if it could be injectors or maybe inj o-rings or what?
Any thoughts
Thanks fellas,
CJ

My truck did the same thing. I had the injectors rebuilt by Rosewood diesel and he said there were a few bad plungers that were sticky. It doesn't do it anymore.

Thanks for the reply, that's kinda what I was thinking was going on because the Rev-X really made a big difference. I'm gonna run this oil for 3000 miles then go to the syn & see how it goes, probably gonna have to bite the bullet & get injectors down the road.
