Being able to supply more HPO when it's needed is ALWAYS beneficial.

They already do... it's called a Terminator Pump. Basically, two pumps end to end with a coupler in the middle. There are 1 or 2 other companies that make them as well.

Depending on what type of setup you plan on running, you mas also want to look at this:

http://www.dieselsite.com/overdrive/
and
http://www.dieselsite.com/adrenaline/

I am currently testing these units combined and they provide more than double the oil volume of stock and are a simply bolt-in installation. Here's the thread on the installation:

Take care.

Im really liking the Adrenaline. That will probally be my next mod for sure. I was just curious about the dual stock pumps bc i have a 17* pump sitting on the shelf in my shop.

Chuck,

It gets to a point where increasing the angle of the swashplate reduces the reliability of the pump. That's a lot of angle for the sliders to handle. It make work for a while but I'd be concerned about long-term reliability.

Dave,

It depends a lot on what your definition of "cruise" is. For me, it's 70-75 MPH rolling down the highway at 2200 RPM. Stock, this puts me at 1600-1800 PSI while modified puts me a bit higher at 1800-2000 PSI.
