Just looking for a little clarification, when you select "load Previous Settings" does that set it back to what Bill has set or what the previous custom settings i would of changed it to?

Also, ive heard of a few people lowering the shift points, would this help anything like MPG or is there another reason for changing them

Thanks ahead of time!
I would only adjust custom tunes as per Bill's instructions....other than tires and gears....

IF you have made changes to the tune using the Custom Options Menu, then "Load Previous Settings" recalls and applies the last values you used in each of the options, NOT the settings Bill applied. If you did not change an option, then the original value in your custom tune is applied.

Like 88Racing said, don't go changing things willy-nilly. Make sure you understand what and WHY you are changing them. If you are not careful, you can easily counter some of the benefits Bill has given you in your tunes. And, none of us are really qualified to tell you what will or will not improve (or hurt) things. Every truck and driving situation is different.

Actually, I WAS in a good mood when I answered that. (Despite the fact that I have said similar things many times before and am somewhat tired of people screwing up their trucks and then blaming the "tune" for their problems.)

I honestly know how "natural" it is to want to "make things better". I'm and engineer (and computer programmer), so I am always interested in improving things. As you can imagine, this has gotten me in trouble on a few occasions. I like to think I've learned when to meddle and when not to. But, like most, I'm still learning.

I really DID laugh when I read your post, by the way.

Even I can remember cases where people fixed it till it was broke...and I'm nowhere near as old as Jack.
