Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled)
Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip.

If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here.

Default Do tunes have EBPV control?

I just ordered a phoenix chip today and I was wondering how the tunes would affect my Exhaust Back Pressure Valve. I assume the High Idle tune will keep it closed, but will the performance tunes keep it open at all times? The EBPV is a pain and makes me lose control in the ice and snow with the sudden acceleration burst when it opens and deceleration when it closes. If a constant fully open EBPV feature isn't part of the Daily Driver or Performance tunes, how much might it cost to have it put into the tune?

Thanks for any advice

Truck: '95 F250 with manual transmission, stock except 3" dp to 5" straight pipe & 6637 air filter.
