I have the Gryphon out of the truck.

Do I just plug it in and go to update, targeted functions?

First, make sure you've set the truck back to the "stock" (Level 0) tune!

Then, start Pegasus. Click on [Updates]->{Pegasus Update Manager] to make sure you are running the latest version of Pegasus!

Connect your Gryphon to your PC, when Pegasus reports that it is "connected", click on [Updates]->[Custom File Download] to upload the new tunes to your Gryphon.

When the process finishes, disconnect the Gryphon from your PC, turn your truck's ignition to ON and reconnect your Gryphon. Then, you should be able to reprogram your truck.

I've experienced the same thing on my truck with the Gryphon. Does it on both the 87 & 93 octane performance tunes. Doesn't do it on the stock tune. Looking forward to seeing if yours got fixed.

Default Mine too

I havent used any other tune on my truck but LV3/93 oct. I do not have any other tunes and the only thing my 2008 SCrew 5.4 has is a flowaster 50 Cat Back single side exhaust. EVERYTIME I drive it sounds like I am misfiring, or its not getting enough gas/bad gas. My truck only has 8000 miles on it. Most of the time driving around my town I am under 35mph. I live on Long Island less than 100ft above sea level and rarely have I gone more than 200 feet above sea level. The only time the sputtering stops is when i am getting on it (1/2 throttle or more) or when i really get on it WOT on the highway.

Sometimes I use the throttle position gauge and the majority of the sputtering happens under 15% and at slower speeds. When in stock mode there is a delay in throttle response under 15% so its lose lose - damned if i do damned if i dont. The sputtering doesnt really bother me but the fact that it happens enough that my wife notices it begs me to ask the question/or suggest they have/will a fix for it?

Are we talking the canned tune?
Or a custom tune?
You need to update your user cp too!
With your hex code and programmer serial number.

Yes if you could put your hex and serial # in your user cp it would be much appreciated!
Also at what rpm is your miss happening at?
Is it more previlant at the begining of a shift?(High rpms) or after the shift?(Low rpms)
Also how many miles on the truck?
Peace!

Its always below 1500, light touch on the pedal to accl away from a stop sign or traffic. I almost feel like its starving for gas or flooding - kinda like the bog you get on a dirtbike thats carb isnt floating right. No issue with shifting - I love what this thing has done to my shifts - honestly besides the great burnouts-quick accel, shifting is my ABSOLUTE Favorite thing about this mod!!!
