Default VXBC9N8

VXBC9N8, Is this a good strategy for my 2004 F-350. I am only getting 12-14 mpg. I also have the post shutdown injector buzz. Will reflashing help my truck or is this already the best strategy for it? Thanks,

Will

VXBC9N8 is crap. I had that before my rollback. Mileage was right where your's was. Now I have VXBC4 and my FICM is Bill's strat also with no inductive heating. Difference is night and day. I just filled up my truck and calculated mileage was 17 just driving back and forth to work. Worst I got all winter with warmups, and pulling my firewood trailer was 14.8. It would've been less than 12mpg before. Way more power too.

I also have the vxbc9n8 with swamps 58v ficm and the new ford flash. I am running gearheads srl+. I see you say your not running the inductive heating. I imagine it get colder up there than here in Illinois. Have you had any times where you wished you had the ih? And what are the pros to not having it?

Thanks,

Shane
