The Conversation Pit This is where EVERYTHING else goes. No subject is too mundane. How's the weather in your area? Did your kid cut his first tooth? Really, what do you think about the President? And don't get me started on Cummins and Duramaxes. Have at it! |

Engines!
http://www.waukeshaengine.com/ - 16 cylinders, 285 Liters, 4500 HP @ 1000 RPM!! And it runs on Windows™! ![]() Too funny... ![]() Anyway, I had stumbled onto that site looking for the engines they used to do Octane testing. Here's the link for that if anyone's interested in what they look like. http://www.waukeshaengine.com/index....tane-Category/ By the way, they're about $200,000 if you should decide to pick one up! Enjoy.

Now if I could find some way to graft one of those 16 cylinder engines into my wife's Torino, I wouldn't have to work with that boat-anchor Cleveland......
I did some reading on the octane test engine a little while back. I also read about a production car engine that worked in a similar manner....I think it was a SAAB. Cool stuff.
