Hey there, Mike. Glad to have you aboard. We should have some goodies for the 2009 here shortly. Hope the truck is treating you well.

Just for reference, I had a 65 Galaxie 500 w/352 4bbl. Man do I ever miss that car. A buddy of mine had a 68 XL with a 429 & 4spd and was I ever jealous of that car. Ford FE blocks RULE!

Take it easy.

Ah, nostalgia - I had a 66 Galaxie, and as I recall it had the 352 4bbl carb too. But, it was painted silver and in the south Texas heat, that paint looked old in two years. I traded it in on a 68 or 69 Mercury Marquis that had the 429 engine with C6 transmission. That car was a great machine. I kept it until they started phasing out leaded gas.

But, welcome to the forum, Mike! We're a friendly bunch here.

- Jack

Default 09 F150

Love the truck. 6 speed trans is a nice addition for the F150s. Its Blue and silver,6.5 box, chrome pkg,18" wheels. The sync is great.I will be towing a 8800lb fifth wheel. I had no problem last year with my 05 F150 screw. it should be a lot better with this truck especially with a Gryphon programmer. can't wait. I'll be checking out the forum often to see whats happening.See ya

That's some serious towing! I bet the extra gears help in this department too. I find, when I'm pulling my little 3600 pounder up hills, I wish I had something between 4th and 3rd gear.

I think your colors sound beautiful - probably my favorite combination.

Look forward to your report when you get the Gryphon custom tunes.
