Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled)
Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip.

If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here.

Did the laundry soap stuff for years as a kid working on mowers and dirt bikes. The nitrates in that stuff will seriously piss off any cuts for sure! In a pinch I still use it, but any more I have a gallon of GoJo in the mud room for quick cleanups on those greasy jobs.

As for the 15K, that probably has more to do with the crappy shifts than you realize. What people fail to remember is that all the shifts are based on throttle position and anything that changes the relationship between throttle position and engine output is going to screw with shifting, even if it is indirectly.

Consider... Let's say you were stock and it takes 40% throttle to accelerate 2 mph per second. Now you change the power output (10K, chip, whatever) and now it only takes 25% throttle to accelerate 2 mph per second. If you don't take into consideration the shifting, then you end up with shifts that could occur anywhere from 2 to 8 mph earlier (depending on the shift), which would result in lugging and possibly even shift hunting.

When we do chips or programmers, we try very hard to maintain good low-throttle characteristics and a power transfer curve that is similar to stock. Once you get over 40% is when things really start cooking but by then the shifts aren't nearly as critical.

Much to my surprise, I'm actually quite enjoying Linux!
