Just to add to the "Microsoft Bashing" (not really, but they make such good targets, right?), way back when I was a new Edge owner (before the "founding" of PHP), I tried to update the firmware on my Edge, at the advice of Bill Cohron over on the f150Online forum. The process started normally, but about halfway through, I got the "Blue Screen Of Death" (BSOD).
I was absolutely certain the Edge was toast. But after a reboot, a second attempt went without a hitch.
I'm glad you had a similar resolution, PhqChevys! And yes, my reaction to the BSOD was much the same as your reaction to your problem.
