Between the headlight switch and the front/rear tank switch. Fits like a glove, and if you weren't lookin you would not see it.

dang, yours must be smaller than mine...

I don't think mine would fit there.

Mine is down low in the lower panel to the left of the steering wheel, I just used the hole from my old 3-step chip form Bill way-back-when.
I am going to move it though. This is giving me some good ideas.
