Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled)
Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip.

If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here.

Clap Chip Installed

Well, after a little scare with the truck shutting off. I got the chip reinstalled and it is working GREAT!

I really didn't know what to expect, but I am loving it so far. I really like the throttle response from a stop, it isn't so drastic that it will surprise you. But when you get on it, it really goes.

My only 2 questions right now are, in the 80DD, it seems like the truck upshifts early and locks the torque converter right away. I think this is normal, but just want affirmation????

And in the 100 Perf tune, it seems like there is a really hard upshift or something from 3-4? The wierd thing is it seems like it is after the transmission actually has shifted. I am taking it easy in that tune because I am not used to that much power and I just want to make sure I dont hurt my truck.

So far, after very little driving, I actually kind of like the shifting patterns and everything of the 65Tow tune the best. It kind of makes me wish I'd gone with the 80Tow after all just for daily driving.

BUT, I love it. Sorry for sending up the red flags earlier. I still don't know what was wrong, but disconnecting it and reconnecting it fixed it. I will give more updates as I put more miles on it!

I drove the truck just a few miles this morning and am still thinking that I like the shifting in 65 Tow better when driving around town. I haven't had the truck out on the highway yet, but I am willing to bet that's when 80 DD really shines. I'm very impressed, I got about 23lbs of boost on 65 Tow this morning, so thats cool.

I am going to be driving the truck a lot more this weekend, so I'll be able to give more of my opinion then.
