Hi John -

The Gryphon is VERY simple to use. Everything is "menu driven" and mounting it in or dismounting it from your vehicle is a "tool less" procedure that takes about 2-3 minutes once you get used to what you have to do. I honestly believe a 6-yr old kid could do it.
