Thank you 88 - I just called the tranny shop. they installed a Transgo shift kit in my existing valve body.. . . my tranny is a 4R75W. ... if that answers your questions below? i have no mods except Edge with 6"lift & 35's and do no towing or off-road (i'm a mechanical contractor)

So, I don't understand much about these programmers but I will be happy if i can get the power program with no influence on tranny.
thanks again.

06'F150 4x4 screw, 5.4, 3.73 gears.

ps - Do you think i'll need to ship my entire edge to Bill or will it be an emailable program?

To upgrade to the Gryphon, you will need to ship your Edge to PHP.

I would wait until their family situation has settled down and make sure you insure it!

Bill has actually talked about this situation a bit in the past. he would write your custom tunes with "adjustments" to the transmission elements that would take your new transmission components into account. My guess is, he wouldn't really leave that part at a "stock" setting, but he would NOT apply the same line pressure strategies that custom tunes normally have.

I suspect the line pressures are too high with the new components and a "tune".
