Due to issues with the cable failures due to incompatible versions of firmware, we do not offer upgrades or tuning for the 1997-2003 F-Series gas or 7.3L diesel trucks. If it's an old Evo (as in "Gameboy" style) then any update will unfortunately require that you send it in. If it's a dash mount, then you're in good shape and the unit can be updated/corrected remotely. Either we or Edge can help you on this so just let us know how you'd like to handle it.
