Well I received my gryphon two weeks ago and I love it. I've been running #2 canned tow tune until my custom tunes arrive. Here's my question, next week I'll be pulling my boat to the Keys for our annual trip, about 8 or 9 hundred miles round trip. Should I run stock or run the tow tune? I've seen and read many threads saying not to run canned tunes with a CAI and exhaust system. The boat is about 2800 to 3000lbs. fully loaded. Thanks

I think you'll be fine with the tow tune. Unless I'm horribly mistaken, your truck is at least an '06, right? They didn't have the lean problems that the 04-05s had.

The lean issue is also more with the level 1 tranny and level 3 performance tunes. The level 2 tow runs a little bit richer which helps fight the leaning out of the CAI and exhaust.
