Ok, just be sure to relay whatever he tells you so.

Well I was in class when this older guy made the comment "wow, New Braunsfels got 16 inches." San Marcos is the meeting point of the San Marcos river (springfed here straight from the Edwards aquifer so there is little significant change from one storm) but the Blanco river has picked up over 20 miles of creeks and other tributaries. I live right on the river after they meet so I was thinking "OH $#%*!!!!". Then I hauled buns to a stretch of river where I eat lunch and saw that the Blanco was only about 6 inches high. Whew! But the storm yesterday and last night till this morning was crazy.
