Upgrade your Evo (Disabled)
Upgrade your Edge Evolution to a Gryphon Programmer to allow for custom tuning and additional functionality.

Due to issues with the cable failures due to incompatible versions of firmware, we do not offer upgrades or tuning for the 1997-2003 F-Series gas or 7.3L diesel trucks. We recommend using another platform.

Default Question about moving Evo II to a different truck

This may be a stupid question, but with my limited knowledge of programmers I'm uncertain. I currently have an Edge Evo II for an '00 F250 7.3 PSD. I'm planning to sell the truck in the near future. I have a couple questions surrounding this:

1. Can my Evo II be used on a F150?

I'm interested in the upgrade to the Gryphon.

2. Can my Evo II be upgraded to a Gryphon to be used on a F150?

Thanks.

What year is the F-150?

That will have a bearing on what we can/will do.

97-03 F150. Is that specific enough? I don't have one yet, but plan too. Just trying to find out if I can reuse my current programmer or upgrade it to a Gryphon and use it.
Thanks.

Yes. As long as the cable you are using on the F250 right now is working fine, we can upgrade your Evo to a Gryphon and allow it to be used on the F150.

We stopped offering the Gryphon on the 97-03 trucks because of cable issues. But if yours is working, we can upgrade it.

What kind of cable issues were you having, if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks.
