Give us a call when you have a minute so we can walk through everything. It's probably something simple and we should be able to get it fixed quickly.

Hello everyone,

I hooked the Gryphon back up to the truck and everything worked fine. I did the level 3 custom and set the gears to match the 3.55's that my truck has according to the sticker in the door jam, I also calibrated the tire size and set the transmission shift settings to +3 for all gears. I increased the spark by 1.0 since I'm running 93 octane. I also went and bought a K&N filter and installed it. The truck runs great and the Gryphon does show a little 3 in the upper right corner. However, I still don't notice much of an increase in performance. I may be able to tell a glimmer of a change but certainly not like most others have described.

More details about my truck:

2006 F150 scab 4x4
4.6 v8 at
33x12.50-17
magnaflow SI/SO exhaust
K&N air filter

HEX code: TEGE2GA

Thanks for the help!

Strange, you should be able to tell a huge difference

Did you buy your truck used? If yes then it is possible that the truck was already tuned. If it was then you probably wouldn't notice a huge difference. Just a thought.

I'll be interested in finding out what Bill tells you when you talk to him.

Since over 95% of the people who have installed a Gryphon say what a difference it made in their vehicle then I would have to say somewhere, somehow, something is out of line. I'm sure if there is PHP will figure it out for ya'

As a last resort, which I don't think your there yet, go find a used truck your year and take it for a test drive. If the programmer is working in your truck when you test drive the other truck it will feel like a snail. Just a thought
