Typically the "economy" type of programs use slightly higher ICP and a touch more timing in the cruising ranges then a "race" tune will. The higher ICP and injection timing will increase mileage as this produces a cleaner burn. Obviously, the shift strategy's will be adjusted for the different fueling rates.
