Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled)
Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip.

If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here.

Default PCM case getting hot

Just revieved my Phoenix chip on Monday. Hooked it up and everything runs great, like I have a brand new and much improved truck. The only thing I noticed was after driving for about 10 minutes I checked to make sure the chip was still attached firmly (which it was), but the outside of the PCM case seemed really warm.

I have to admit, I had never felt the PCM after driving prior to installing the chip so I have no idea if this is normal or not. So my question is is this normal? Or could something be hooked up wrong causing it to generate a lot of heat. Don't want to burn up my PCM or my new chip for that matter.

Thanks.
