That's the usual procedure, since underdrive pulleys turn things more slowly. But, unless you do a lot of idling with a heavy electrical load, you may not have to change the idle speed. I imagine, with a Gryphon, you could simply monitor your charging voltage to see if there's really any reason to adjust the idle.
It might really be needed if you coupled the pulleys with e-fans, since they add to your electrical load.
