The Conversation Pit This is where EVERYTHING else goes. No subject is too mundane. How's the weather in your area? Did your kid cut his first tooth? Really, what do you think about the President? And don't get me started on Cummins and Duramaxes. Have at it! |

I have some cousins that are allergic to corn and its biproducts.....its a real treat to go eat at their houses..almost all of their food is hand prepped and they only eat out at organic restaurants ......they make their own ketchup and its the best!

Similar attitude here. Janet's Daughter Rachael has recently become certified in nutrition, and we do our best to avoid most "processed" foods. Janet has become essentially vegan, with a bit of fish now and then and I eat much less meat than I used to. Not many things in our house with HFCS.

I like to cook so I rarely buy processed foods.
I don't even buy meat most of the time. My family has been raising livestock for a long time. Then I usually get a good sized deer during hunting season and when I don't want red meat I catch fish out of the river (not that it is much safer than meats with additives). As for veggies, we buy them fresh. I also include quite a bit of fruit in my diet when I can.
