On the CTS, there's a "Mileage Coach" option to show instantaneous mpgs vs avg mpgs. I've got mine showing the difference between the two, so it was fun seeing the mileage coach go to -18 when I nailed it coming up one of the hills around here (google claims it to be a max 23% grade...little easier in the truck than on my bike..  ).
