Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled)
Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip.

If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here.

Default Stage 1 injectors and chip

Are the standard Phoenix and FU calibrations compatible with stage 1 injectors for '95-'97 powerstrokes? Since the nozzles are still stock, would it just allow you to take advantage of the higher HP settings or do you need to get custom calibrations?

I'm pretty sure the stage 1's will be different tunes because they are a single shot injector

I think if you buy the injectors from PHP you get the chip reburned for free

The early powerstrokes were single shot already, my understanding of the stage 1's is that they have the same nozzle just a larger fuel capacity so I thought that the programing would be the same, but on the higher horse tunes, which I'm guessing have longer pulse width, your running out of fuel with the stock injectors and the Stage 1's just allow you to take advantage of that.

I guess if you buy the injectors from them and they reburn for free this is a mute point, cuz that was my plan, just wanted the chip for now but didn't want to have to pay for new tunes in a couple months, but it would be nice to have some clarity on this.

You can run FU tunes on a 95-97 PSD all day with Stage 1's. Just don't expect it to run much stronger than a stock-injector'ed truck.
