Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled)
Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip.

If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here.

Clap Very impressed!

I got my Phoenix chip Friday, and installed it yesterday. Wow! It made a huge difference in my truck. The install was very easy, even though I had to pull it out and clean the backside of the connector a little more.

Once I figured out I could pull the PCM case completely apart it made life easy. A small brass brush made quick work of the silicone and a toothpick got all the tiny pieces left over, and then a clean rag with electronics cleaner cleaned the connector up nicely.

The performance is impressive. I went with anti theft, stock, 80 tow, 80 DD, 100 performance, and 120 race. 80 DD is nice and mellow, feels stock until about 1800 RPM, then the boost builds quickly and it pulls like a freight train. I haven't spent much time in 100 or 120, because I don't have my gauges in yet (they should be here on Tuesday). I did have it in 100 performance for a quick blast up a freeway on-ramp, and I almost couldn't shift fast enough! I was at 80 before I realized it, and before I was on the freeway. I don't think you could have wiped the grin off my face with a baseball bat.Very little smoke, more like a slight gray haze.

I am very happy that I went with PHP for the tunes on my truck. The customer service was excellent, the tunes are excellent, and I am very pleased with the way my truck runs. Thanks PHP!
