Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled) Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip. If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here. |

Im a MORON
Ok I just got done installing the the PHP Phoenix chip in my 7.3 Superduty. its all in and hooked up complete....BUT Like a dummy, Ive been driving around for the last 3 years with my Superchips 1705 tuner program installed I forgot to revert the truck back to stock prior to the chip install.
Can I revert the truck to stock via the OBD (the superchip interface) with the PHP installed or do I need to take it out first? all I have done so far is to turn the ignition on to check the wait to start light. I have not started the truck yet. I feel pretty dumb....Cody can attest to that! Thanks Patrick |

I know this'll be a pain but to play it safe you could remove the chip, not completely out of the truck but so it isn't making any contact with the PCM, and reprogram back to stock.

It wont matter, the chip will override the Superchip anyways. But if you want to sell the Superchip, do what was posted above.

So having the super chips installed as the "stock" program won't hurt to drive it. It's not a additive type of deal where I get more tunes than I want? Is it strictly the PHP tunes I'm getting when im not in the stock position?

even in the stock position you are using php tunes, , the chip completely overrides whatever program is on the chip, and the stock tune is php's stock tune.
