If you are for sure insisting on installing the CAI then yes, you should wait for the tunes to get to you before you install the CAI. A possibly better idea is to do the Gott's mod for very cheap, and sell the CAI, and then use the money elsewhere...
 . Most CAI's on your truck won't do anything except help it run lean, but Bill can adjust the truck to compensate. They do help remove flow restrictions, but the Gott's mod can do the same thing for a whole lot cheaper. Off the soapbox now... lol  I hope this helps, Enjoy the new power
