Well DUH!
He DID say "pod", didn't he? When I saw "black", all I could think of was the Gryphon case.
I suppose you have an earlier model Gryphon?
The pod can be painted easily with any spray paint suitable for plastics. All you need to do IS "take a spray can to the thing"! Matching the color though means you're going to have to follow the advice Lars gave you.
