E85 Custom Tune Question

I got my Gryphon the other day and I love it. I have been running my custom 87 tow tune until tonight when I had about an 1/8 of a tank of 87 octane left and filled up with E85 to try my E85 custom performance tune. I pulled out of the parking lot after reprogramming, and my truck went into Engine Failsafe Mode and was running very ruff. I pulled into the next parking lot and pulled code P061B Internal Torque Calculation Performance, I shut the truck off, cleared the code, restarted the truck and drove it home and never had a problem again. I am thinking the 87 octane left in the fuel line is what caused the problem, but I would like to get a few more ideas from the PHP gang.

Thanks, Trent

A few words of advice before switching octanes. Switch on second tank, or run the tank almost dry within a gallon or two. And you are right you probably had some of the other gas still in the lines. So next time run it then switch tunes after switching octanes.

What do you think of the tune? I have yet to try mine but was hoping to give it a shot pretty soon. How does it compare to the 87 tune?

The 87 is a tow tune so its hard to compare the two, but I love the E85 tune, soon I will try the 93 performance tune and compare it to the E85.
