Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled)
Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip.

If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here.

Question problem with phoenix chip

well i ordered my chip a few months back, had no problem with it, i hardly use my loped setting but here lately when i use it, sometimes it will work and sometimes it wont, a lot of times i have ta rev it up and then it might work, if i leave it on the loped setting for 2-3 min my check engine light comes on, it chatters real fast, not a lope, and ta make it stop i have ta shut the truck off, i get no smoke out of it, from what im told, it should start right away and i could leave it on all day with no problems and have smoke, so whats the problem?

I don't know what's going on with your truck, but the calibration is correct and similar to the other lope idle tunes that we sell for different PCM codes. How does the 120 lope compare to the 120R program you have?

The biggest "contributor" to how well the lope works is the condition of the IPR and the PCM's response to ICP changes.

I'm not saying that anything is bad. Throwing parts at vehicles is not my cup of tea.

How is the power? I know you say it doesn't smoke, but does it run OK?

The 120R and 120LI are identical save for the ICP map. They should both run exactly the same above an idle.
