Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled)
Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip.

If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here.

Default CTS Stolen - Thinking Phoenix but...

Some wonderful, honest individuals thought it would be a good idea to steal the CTS from my truck. I've decided to go the less flashy route with just guages and a phoenix, but I have a catch: When they stole my CTS the truck was on the 80hp tune. Do I need to get it flashed back to stock in order to utilize the Phoenix?

I think you do have to have the truck put back to stock before using the Phoenix, but I think Bill can help you.

Make sure Bill knows your CTS was stolen and he has your unit's Serial Number.

Nope, you don't have to return the truck to stock to use a Phoenix.

And there you have a "real" answer, instead of my "guess"! Thanks, Cody!

However, DO make sure PHP knows the S/N of the stolen unit.

So I'm assuming that a "stock" position on the phoenix would just revert back to the 80 HP program that is flashed in? I guess that would be the only downside.... no way to ever get back to a stock setting without having the truck flashed back.

No. Stock on the chip would be "stock". A chip doesn't revert back to the PCM programming on "stock". "Stock" is actually a burned memory allocation on the chip.
