Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled)
Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip.

If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here.

Default Edge-vs-Phoenix

I have a '03 F250 with a Edge Juice W/Attitude currentley on my truck. I am wanting to get a Phoenix 6 Pos. Chip. I was wondering could i leave my edge in my truck and leave it on stock and run the php chip, and vise versa leave the php chip on stock and run my edge chip?? Is this possible? If not can you explain why??

I am fairly certain that you can use the edge as a gauge monitor, and the phoenix chip for the tunes, but not the other way around.
It has to do with the setup of the chip, The phoenix connects directly to the PCM and bypasses it's tunes in favor of the programmed while the edge actually changes the pcm's tunes. The stock setting on the chip is programmed as a stock setting in the chip, ie the PCM uses the phoenix's tuning instead of it's own, while setting the edge to stock changes the pcm's tunes. Does that make more sense?
They good news is that you can have both in your truck at the same time, but only if you are using the edge as a gauge display. If you tried to program the pcm with the phoenix installed you would either break something or it just wouldn't work, this is because the phoenix needs special hardware/software in order to be reburned/rewritten.

Hope this helps.

The Juice module IS NOT a programmer OR a chip. There is proper nomenclature for each. The Phoenix is a "chip". The Juice is an inline module. The Edge Evolution is a flash programmer.

The Juice will work with the Phoenix regardless of whether or not either is in a "stock" setting or otherwise. However, you WILL run into P1211 codes if you push the truck in any setting other than "stock" along with the chip in an aggressive power level. The tuning of the chip already increases injection pressure (which is ALL the Juice does anyway) along with a slew of other things. Use the Attitude to watch EGT and leave it in stock or level 1.

Thanks for the clarification, Guess I didn't know what I was talking about as much as I thought I did.
