The only time I've ever seen what you're describing here was in 1st gear at idle and it was when I tried advancing the spark by a measly 0.25 degrees. The idle speed started "hunting". I set the spark advance back to zero and it went away. I don't suppose you possibly tried advancing the idle, did you?

And, if not, I wonder what would happen if you retarded the spark by 0.25 degrees in the tune you're using? I'm not saying this is the BEST fix, but any additional information might help Bill adjust things.

Mine is in second gear and when I go through a school zone.The hunting stops the second I let off on the throtle, then goes away for a day. It only happens in second going about 30k. Bill where are you???? I sent him a PM a few days ago... He is just so busy...
