Welcome DZL JIM,
Keep in mind there is a very small number of us actually doing our own tuning with Minotaur... however we love to share and chat. so feel free to ask all the question ya want...

Cody did you change the TCC duty cycle times, torque reduction or lockup shift delays on that tune? just thinking that's gotta be aweful hard on the tranny at full throttle upshift from 2-3

Wow, great info. I need to digest all of this...

First question, how do you get tables instead of the 3-d maps?
And how do you pull up the shift schedules?

Thanks!

Hi Jim,

F6 thru F10 for the tables. Shift schedules are under "functions"

If, like me, you are running on a laptop or netbook without a 10 key pad it really helps to get a seperate 10 key pad for working with the maps. Picked up a bluetooth one on ebay for $20 delivered, works great .... Oh if you select a range of values in the 3d map you can use the ctrl key and the + or - key to shift the whole selected range up or down. pretty useful tool once you get the hang of it...

Nope. It's a TDE1 for a 97. There aren't any of those functions at all. No TCC duty cycle on that one since it's an on/off solenoid valve. No torque reduction or anything. Shift pressures and slopes are all that are available.

Ah, ok. Didn't know that.

Just redid my tunes as finally got my new tires on... 255/85r16 Remington Mud Brutes. now at 626 Revs/mile up from 601. it definitely has a better ride that what was on there before. less weight and rolling resistance should hep the MPGs a bit too.

Do you have a recommendation for a good aftermarket trans cooler. I notice that running around Los Angeles my Tranny temps climb pretty fast if I have get on the throttle a lot.... do you remember which side of the trans cooler line on the radiator is the return? wanna put cooler after the radiator cooler
Thanks
DJ

back to the topic, Jim, you should check out the other threads on shifting in this forum we had a couple good discussions about them... are you running the Fuel Sipper tune? curious if you are having the TC lock unlock issue in 3rd? or maybe Bill fixed it now
