your idle speed is set in the tune so not sure why you are getting a high idle...
the shifting is easy for Bill to tweak in the tune.... how many miles on the truck? tunes can magnify certain tranny problems. definitely go with a shift kit, I have the Transgo kit in mine... or you can get a custom valve body... BTS or John Woods I think it is are both good.. the pressures are helpful if you can get them... Cody or Bill are the ones you can really advise you on tranny stuff
