Default Is it possible?

I have a 2002 F-350 Diesel. I currently have an AFE intake, magnaflow turbo-back exhaust, a 6.0 intercooler, and an Edge Evo 2, I have an Adrenaline HPOP on the way. I am planning a new turbo to push 35 lbs of boost and Rosewood stage 2 single-shot injectors. Now for my problem: I live in California where we now have to smog diesels. So far there is only an opacity test (smoke test) a visual inspection and plug into the OBD II port to check for trouble codes. I can't program back to stock and run the stage 2's. To get to the point after a bunch of rambling: Is it possible to have a program written to run the stage 2's so it doesn't smoke but also won't throw any trouble codes to alert the tech? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Regards, Darin

Yes, programs can be made and installed on the Evolution to run your stage 2 injectors. There will be a $25 charge to convert your Evolution into a Gyphon and a $60 per tune charge to custom tune for the injectors.

The thing that you're going to have to remember to do is change the program to the "clean" tune a while (it will depend on your driving habits as to how long) to allow the PCM to clear the P0605 code. The 7.3L doesn't set a P1000 code like the gassers, but a P0605 will occur when the programming takes place. It will clear itself after 40 drive cycles or just by clearing the codes with the Gryphon.

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

When you mention the P1000 code do you mean that the 7.3's don't throw them often or not at all? Because my truck throws the P1000 all the time.
