Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled) Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip. If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here. |

I bought my chip from a guy who had a 02 crew cab with cold air and exhaust. I have a single cab cold air and intake. my truck shifts funny sometimes. In 80 econ it shifts really hard and chirps tires if I get on it at all. I always keep it in 100 performance. It shifts pretty good but sometimes if I get on it it will lag, then shift real hard and chirp the tires. The power is great but I'm not sure about these hard shifts. Some shifts feel good. I dont want to mess up my trans obviously and I usually let off the throttle to help it shift. I am thinking of a bully dog shift kit+valve body. My truck has a heavy duty torque converter, dont know anything else about it, previous owner had it installed. I think I want to send my chip in soon to get different tunes on it, I am wondering if I can get the tunes adjusted to shift different or what. I have stock, 25 t 40 t 65 t 80 e 100 p and low idle. I want stock, 25 t 65 t 100 p 120 and smoke. How long does it take to ship it in have it changed and shipped back? Also, I will be putting a wicked wheel in my truck, will anything need to be changed on the chip for that?

The only thing that will change for you will be the transmission shift pressures...and that's only if you do go ahead and get the "shift kit". Otherwise that sucker is going to shift really hard.
The tunes will cost $30 each (except stock which is free). Shipping from us will be in the neighborhood of $10 and you can expect a turn-around of 2-3 days once we get the payment confirmation and chip here. You can fill out the reburn order form here: http://www.gopowerhungry.com/order_f...20Signable.pdf
