Question ????????

I was wondering if any body knows what happened.

I was driving my truck today had it set on my 87 performance tune and i was driving on a two lane road(one lane for every direction) well the other lane was clear and the person in front of me was going incredibly slow. So I layed the pedal to the floor and passed him up. when i got back into the right lane i looked down and noticed my engine light was blinking on and off. So i let off the gas let the truck slow down and then gave it a little bit of gas and the truck started shaking a little then I let off again then gave it some gas agian and it was fine and then the light quit blinking. Then the truck drove fine the rest of the trip back home. I thought about pulling over and checking the codes with my programmer, but it quit blinking before I had a chance to pull over.

Any thoughts??

Have you tried pulling the code even though the light went off?

Thats strange

Maybe get the programmer ready to check for codes and try to recreate the same conditions that set it off.

I guess next time you want to pass someone get the programmer ready to check for codes. Then make it pull the code the moment you see it.
