I agree with both you and the wife. The PMT1 always felt stronger to me, even if only a a little bit. Of course, that may be entire because of the transmission strategy better handling the power from the engine and putting it to the ground.
The reason we went to PMT1 was specifically because of the shift strategies, especially the 4-3 and T/C shifts. This is also the reason we created the VDH/PMT, MNM/PMT, and XLE/PMT hybrid files. They just shift so much better than the original strategies. In the end, it's whatever makes you happy.
