All of my diesels have always gotten oil changes every 3000-3500 miles with Valvoline Premium Blue 15/40 in the warm season and Valvoline Premium Blue Extreme Synthetic 5/40 in the cold season.
The SUPERCAR gets Valvoline 5/30 every 3000 miles. The SuperCar is a 91 Oldmobile Calais with 230K miles. Hey, it was a freebie 5 years ago.
