^^^ What he said, and, I don't think your truck has the "lean" problem regardless of the type intake you install. This problem really surfaced with the 04+ model year.

I thought it would be fine but just wanted to ask. I was told only the 2004s had the problem but just wanted to be safe my truck runs good just worried about leaning it out after reading the article. thanks.

Yeah, I also think the newer ones are more likely to run lean because of the emission standards, less chance for failure on the sniffer test if they aren't running on the rich side.
